About Hyaluronic Acid
Where can Hyaluronic Acid (HA) be found?
HA is in all connective tissue, joints, body cavities, joint spaces,
and tissue surfaces. The highest levels are found in the synovial fluid
of all joints and the skin. There are also high levels of HA found in
the eyes, cartilage, heart, intervertebral discs of the spine and in
the fluids of the inner and middle ear.
Why is HA important to the body?
The level of HA in the human body declines with age and a deficiency
causes problems with the structural integrity of the body. HA is
important in the lubrication of joints, integrity of tissues, fighting
bacterial invasiveness, elasticity of skin, vision, and molecular
transport between cells. HA fills the intercellular space between
collagen and other cells providing support and the essential framework
for tissues. In the joint, HA also acts as a shock absorber and
structural stabilizer.
In what ways has HA been administered?
Until recently, the only way to receive HA was by injection or
topically. Injections, for the most part, are painful and expensive.
Topically, HA has been used in many medical applications, including eye
surgery (to act as a cushion to protect the retina), dental surgery (to
treat periodontal disease), abdominal surgery (to prevent adhesions and
scarring), and cosmetic surgery (to help wounds heal with less
scarring).
HA is very beneficial for skin and can be found in a number of high-end anti-aging skin care products, makeups and crèmes.
How is HA produced for oral consumption?

protein. This laboratory-controlled process yields the purest, highest quality
HA on the market. HA can also be derived from animal sources such as
rooster combs. Conquer HA never uses HA from animal sources because the

What should I do if I miss a day or miss a serving?
Just resume your regular schedule.
What will happen if I make a mistake and take my regular serving twice in one day?
There is no need to be concerned. All Conquer HA products are very safe. A double (or even triple) serving of our supplements won’t hurt you.
